Shilpa Shetty Is Making All Of Us Want To Eat Millet Pizza, Take A Look


When someone mentions the phrase “healthy pizza”, do you think it’s too good to be true? Well, take one look at a recent post on Shilpa Shetty’s Instagram, and all your doubts would be laid to rest. The actress shared a very short clip of a pizza in one of her Instagram Stories. Since Shilpa is known to be a fitness enthusiast and is very particular about what she consumes, this would have raised a lot of eyebrows. But it didn’t Why? Because the pizza Shilpa had was made of millet and the topping consisted of a lot of greens.

Millet is one of the oldest cultivated grains grown mainly in Africa and South and Southeast Asia. It is also one of the most loved staple foods around the world. In fact, millet is gaining renewed popularity for its health benefits in these challenging times.

A low-glycemic index (GI) food, millet helps control blood sugar levels, improves digestion, and protects the heart. There are various ways to add millet to the diet, including in roti, burger, khichdi, etc.

Given these remarkable health benefits, it’s no doubt that Shilpa Shetty is drawn towards it, even if it means accompanying it with pizza. But the actress ensures that she balances out the calories with a regular and effective exercise routine and yoga, and also hacks. Yes, you read that right. A few weeks ago, Shilpa shared with her followers a hack to consume fewer calories with every meal. The hack was chewing the food properly. Shilpa Shetty never compromises on healthy eating, not even on a super busy day. A few days ago, Shilpa, who was stuck in a busy routine, made time for meals in the middle of work. She shared an image on Instagram of her nutritious breakfast, and added the hashtags “on the go”, and “work mode”.
